I found the sentence "be excellent to each other" reproduced in a lot of documents as the main rule to interact in a community. But where does it come from?

In the movie Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, two teenagers travel through time. In a futuristic landscape, they leave the place with a message to the citizens: “be excellent to each other”. From there, the sentence seems to have spread to every tech space guidelines.
