Critical and Intimate Evaluation of Crunchiness

Existing studies attempt to quantify crunchiness in order to set universal standards. However, once it encounters the mouth of the “eaters” and exits the realm of measurements, the definition of crunchiness is lacking a critical and intimate understanding of it. The focus of this project is to collect a wide range of data around the experience, the perception and the imaginary around crunchiness in order to build a collective diary database.

This wiki is an ongoing collaborative project of the crunchy research group initiated by Chaeyoung Kim and Erica Gargaglione
Erica Gargaglione (Italy) and Chaeyoung Kim (South Korea) are a duo interested in finding the perfect crunchiness. Currently enrolled in Piet Zwart Institute, MA Experimental Publishing, they are developing their own tools for a 💥cross-disciplinary practice that involves 💻creative coding🎨, 🍳collaborative �cooking🥣, 👨‍👨‍👦‍👦collective curation👩‍👩‍👧‍👧, 🖌️choral-drawing✍️, ❤️‍🔥creating crush-lists🫶, and other cute🦦 crappy🤷🏻‍♀️ crafts ✨.
