While Ada Initiative was still active, ran a popular and effective two-day unconference called AdaCamp. This unconference was dedicated to increasing women’s participation in open technology and culture.
While the AdaCamps are not happening anymore, the Ada Initiative shared the open-source AdaCamp Toolkit, a collection of very detailed planning documents that lay out how to run events similar to AdaCamp.
