Systerserver is a project launched by the GenderChangers and the /ETC. It is a feminist server, run and maintained by women, that acts as a place to learn administration skills, while it also hosts online services. (SysterServer, n.d.)

A feminist server, such as the Systerserver, is a concept that combines the interest for technical autonomy with feminist urgencies. It is an ongoing effort emerging from the need to ensure that works, publications, data and memories of feminist communities are properly accessible and managed. Feminist hacker initiatives are working to provide technical literacy and means to ensure that mailing lists, pads, wikis, content management systems, social networks and other feminist online services are preserved and protected.
